Today God blessed me with a breath
and then he gave another
I'm humbled and the path is true
Mother nature guide my venture
Watch and care for all who mentor
This life you gave, is an adventure
Can't wait to see
What you will bless me with tomorrow
I promise that my thoughts will not be hollow
I'll not take, but give forever
Can't help but smile
God Bless, until tomorrow............

Alternative ways to grow food!

aleoclimate Record Points Toward Potential Rapid Climate Changes
TIME:
 Tues. Dec. 6, 11 a.m. PST

RELATED SESSIONS: PP32A-08

Even if we are able to limit global warming to 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial times, Earth could likely see drastic and rapid climate change this century, new research by NASA's Jim Hansen suggests. Detailed analysis of the Earth's paleoclimate history of recent interglacial periods reveals we are less than a degree Celsius away from equaling a time when sea level was several meters higher than today. In all, paleoclimate data paints a different picture than models about the sensitivity of the climate system, and indicates that a popular warming mitigation target -- limiting warming to 2 degrees Celsius -- would not be sufficient to avoid dramatic climate changes.

All the more reason to insure we have an alternative way to grow food!

Finding a Twin of Earth

Earths Twin?

We just discovered a planet much like ours, a mere 600 light years away which in cosmic terms is less than 1 inch away or less. We may even need  a micrometer to measure the relative distance. I can't wait to get a closer look. The scientific community is very excited about the possibilities, I hope Wal Mart is not entertaining a business strategy just yet? "We come in peace" should be our mantra, not we come with deals, sales and buy one get one's. SD - Namaste....

To all those with a thumbs, one will do! It is time to insure we protect one of our 3 vital needs. Food production, Water and air are a close tie for 1st... Whether we believe we are the cause of global warming is not the issue. We need to get off of and execute an action plan. Who cares if John spilled the milk? Who is going to clean it up? Facts; earth is warming. current fertile growing regions will no longer sustain especially with our current water situation. We need to 'Think globally, yet act locally". We are morphing into communities again, banding together to support each other. soil less, low water usage farming will be the future, especially if we in the near distant future plan on colonizing  other planets, we can't just plant on a martian surface and watch it grow. We left solar and wind 50 years behind, lets not do the same with food.. Hey, how about we combine the 2 of them. Self sustained food production driven to the local community, sounds like a co-op?Grow what we need locally which will cut down on the largest expense, transportation. Oh, and i don't need a picture of a jolly green giant that I am paying for also. I am all for capitalism but not at the expense of starvation. Do we really need to eat oranges from California with $4.00 a gallon gas? goodnight... Namaste....
Hello all. I took a 2 year break to find life on this planet and I think I did. Its time to get back to business...
